Top ten adventure travel destinations you didn’t know about (Part I)

Have you ever think about where you can do adventure Tourism? Today, we’ll talk about five adventure travel destinations you didn’t know about.

1. Latvia: Tiny Latvia counts with around 350 miles of coastline. Near Jurmala, where you can find the most popular seaside resort in the Baltic region, the dense forests of Kemeri National Park are famous for the bird watching from observation towers. Also, in Riga, the capital, you can find Latvian Open-Air Ethnographic Museum, one of the oldest and largest at Europe, with some 118 historic structures and where you can do some activities like ice-fishing or bread-making.

2. Romania: visitors that come to Romania wants to camp and do hiking in the Carpathian Mountains, to explore the painted monasteries of northern Moldavia and to experience medieval cities surrounded by traditional villages. Moreover, the Danube River finishes nearly 1.800 mile trek from Germany to here, and its delta offers 2.200 square miles of canal, marshes, lakes and islands to visit. 

3. Jordan: the main attractive is Petra, an entire city carved out of a stone canyon hidden in the southern desert. But for an adventure tourism, Northern Jerash and Amman counts with numerous Roman ruins, and there are also nature reserves comprise gorges and desert lowlands, including the reserve at Mujib, the world’s lowest at 410 below sea level and near Dead Sea with around 300 plan species. A special attractive to do some hiking or even visit by camel.

4. Slovenia: a nation that stretches from the Alps to the Mediterranean. In addition to do hiking, cycling and water sports (like rafting) there are also 8.000 caves to visit by foot or by bike (visit underworldly formations).

5. Bulgaria: ski during winter and summers on the Black Sea, with a mountainous terrain which is great for hiking and climbing, like Pirin Mountains. Moreover, Bulgaria hosts a 1.200km endurance bike race through the mountains.
